BUSINESS SITUATIONS: I work a lot with people around the world including English including presentations, emails and other correspondence. I understand very well but I struggle with speaking and need to improve my grammar and pronunciation. SUBJECT OR TOPIC: Exercise to practice common phrasal verbs, watch video about history of English language with questions and 4,3,2 about things that take a long time to learn LANGUAGE FUNCTIONS: Vocabulary, grammar and phrases UNITS: VOCABULARY: Activities, reciter (FR)=recite (EN), script, memorise, character GRAMMAR: To play theatre=to perform in a theatre, she is the kind of people=she is the kind of person, on this moment=at this moment, I find=I found, I am doing bad=I am not doing very well, tell the text=read the script, 15 or 10 years ago=10 or 15 years ago, give out=speak out If you say how someone is getting on (with a job or in a situation), you are talking about how well they are doing. If you give in, you surrender or abandon a fight, argument, etc. If you get something down, you write something. If you give in a piece of work or something you have written, you give it or hand it to a person of authority, such as your boss, your teacher, etc. OTHER: PRONUNCIATION: PHRASES: Cross it out, ended up, get along, get on, give in, get down (phrasal verbs), follow suit PROGRESS: FEEDBACK: Great work with the 4,3,2 exercise today, we can practice this again before we finish if you think this will be useful! HOMEWORK: Next time, we are going look at an explanation to show the difference between gerund and infinitive with some tasks as well. We will also have a look at some subjects that we did when we first started and practice again. Finally, a short video for review and discussion with some questions about A Life on Our Planet that I think you will enjoy.
