VOCABULARY / EXPRESSIONS
Harmless – something that is not dangerous or offensive
Example: It was just a harmless joke.
Constructive criticism – feedback intended to help someone improve, not to hurt them
Example: She gave me constructive criticism on how I could improve the project.
Feedback – a response or reaction about how someone is doing something
Example: I appreciate your feedback on my presentation.
Team effort – work done together as a group
Example: It was a real team effort to finish the task on time.
Pull your weight – do your fair share of the work
Example: Everyone on the team needs to pull their weight.
Work well under pressure – to stay calm and effective during stressful situations
Example: She works well under pressure, especially close to deadlines.
On the same page – to agree or understand something in the same way
Example: Before we start, let’s make sure we’re on the same page.

GRAMMAR
Collocations – What are they?
Collocations are natural combinations of words that native speakers often use together. Using correct collocations makes your English sound more fluent and natural.
Examples:
gagner de l'argent → earn money
gagner → win (for prizes, lottery)
So: earn money (salary), win money (lottery)
Other teamwork-related collocations:
give feedback
receive criticism
achieve a common goal
build strong relationships
delegate tasks
develop trust

PRONUNCIATION
Focus on final consonant sounds and word stress in phrases.
Harmless – be sure to pronounce the final “-less” clearly
Constructive criticism – stress on the second syllable of "constructive" and first syllable of "criticism"
Feedback – stress on the first syllable
Delegate – stress on the first syllable: DE-le-gate
Earn vs. Learn – minimal pair practice (important distinction)
Team effort – link the two words smoothly when speaking: "team-effort"
