BUSINESS SITUATIONS: I work a lot with people around the world including English including presentations, emails and other correspondence. I understand very well but I struggle with speaking and need to improve my grammar and pronunciation. SUBJECT OR TOPIC: Exercise to practice phrasal verbs and continue with lesson plan about what would you put on your bucket list LANGUAGE FUNCTIONS: Vocabulary, grammar, phrases and pronunciation UNITS: VOCABULARY: Bucket, bucket list, outer space, sing out of tune GRAMMAR: How to go around the rule=how to break the rule, a discover=a discovery, went in China=went to China, if I had to thought=if I had to think The verb look up means 'to search for information using a book, computer etc.' and is separable. That means the object can go before or after the particle, but if the object is a pronoun, it MUST go between the verb and the particle. OTHER: PRONUNCIATION: Peking PHRASES: Wonders of the world, hit the road (idiom), kick the bucket (idiom) PROGRESS: FEEDBACK: HOMEWORK: Next time, we are going to continue with the lesson plan, starting with slide 16. We will also look at some common idioms for practice (unfortunately you just have to learn these!)
