OTHER: role play discussions on customer service, sales, and staff recruitment to practise problem and solution scenarios.
PROGRESS: he was able to apply modal verbs accurately in suggestions and showed good comprehension of problem–solution vocabulary. More practice is needed to use suggestions naturally in spontaneous conversation.
FEEDBACK: he participated actively in role plays and was confident using target vocabulary. Needs to continue improving fluency when combining modals with workplace problem vocabulary.
HOMEWORK: complete activity 6 from the worksheet, writing an email to the manager suggesting steps for career development.
