VOCABULARY: Accept, handle, deal with, offer, create, have, make, phone number, copy her in, cars, red light, oil, young bachelors, salary/pay, team spirit, team building, make them feel welcome/included in the team
PHRASES / EXPRESSIONS: Copy her in, make them feel welcome, included in the team
GRAMMAR: Modal verbs for suggestions (might, should, would, could)
PRONUNCIATION: Idea, current, would (silent “l”), clients
OTHER: Clear communication and quick grasp of modals
PROGRESS: He has a strong B1 level, even leaning towards B1+. His communication was clear and he understood the use of modals quickly. He was able to give correct examples with little prompting. We can continue to work on pronunciation and fluency in natural speech.
FEEDBACK: This was the first session. He engaged well with the material and showed interest in applying the vocabulary to work-related contexts. His goals include improving pronunciation, gaining confidence, and becoming more fluent both for work (negotiations, business English) and travel. He is motivated and consistent practice will help him progress steadily.
HOMEWORK: Activity 6 (Write an email to his manager with suggestions for career development and training, minimum 100 words)
