In this lesson, we mainly communicated in French to discuss your current level and your learning objectives. You explained that your level of English is very low at the moment, but you were still able to introduce yourself, say where you live, and count up to ten in English. You also mentioned that the last time you studied English was more than 25 years ago. Well done for what you remembered!
You shared that you occasionally need to speak English with German colleagues, and that improving your general English would support both your personal and professional life. Your main priorities are developing your speaking and listening skills, as well as expanding your vocabulary.
In this lesson, we mainly focused on functional phrases that will be useful for your future lessons. You also listened to three dialogues about problems in the classroom. Although you found the listening tasks a bit challenging, you managed to identify the problems after listening to the recordings a couple of times. Well done!
