EXPRESSIONS: I get on very well with my colleagues. I came across some photos from my last holiday. I’m trying to calm down after a stressful day. COLLOCATIONS: Put off a meeting; call off an event; cheer up a friend; turn up late; work out at the gym. GRAMMAR: Structure and meaning of separable and inseparable phrasal verbs; using phrasal verbs in appropriate tense forms. PRONUNCIATION: Focus on stress patterns in two-word phrasal verbs (e.g., turn up, work out, put off). PROGRESS: He followed the lesson carefully and was able to identify and use most of the target phrasal verbs correctly. He needed some support remembering the meanings but improved during practice. FEEDBACK: Good effort and attention. Continue reviewing the verbs regularly to build fluency and retention. HOMEWORK: Review all phrasal verbs from the lesson and finish Activity 5, Part B.
