PROGRESS: She was very happy to discuss one of her interests, and it turned out to be an informative discussion. Using words like ice(she couldn’t remember the translation and used the literal translation of “glass”)
FEEDBACK: This lesson started with a general discussion about the weather and sundries. Maria started discussing the situation with skiing. She spoke about her experiences in a small lodge towards the south of France. The difficulties with melting snow and the dangers of ice forming. She also spoke about skiing on designated slopes and backcountry skiing.
HOMEWORK: I asked her to review the vocabulary we learnt in the lesson.
