Admin Notes
Christel is the Head of Management Control and Asset Management at Ubaf. She is responsible for monitoring financial figures and expenses, and she reports directly to the CEO and the Bank’s Board. She also provides support to the IT department when new software is being implemented.
Christel uses English three to four times a week at work, mainly through Microsoft Teams and in written correspondence via email. She finds it particularly challenging to understand speakers with certain accents, such as Japanese, Indian, or Egyptian, when communicating in English.
In her free time, Christel enjoys drawing—especially with chalk—and walking in the forest. Her main objectives are to improve her spoken English and to feel more confident when participating in conferences and meetings.
She studied English during school and higher education, though not at university level. About ten years ago, she also took some English lessons; however, she has not studied the language since then. Her current level of English is A2.
