In this lesson we worked on:
Tips for learning English on TV
Verb to ‘do’ as an auxiliary
Today, we began the lesson with a general conversation in which you spoke about your recent holidays. We then reviewed the homework from our previous lesson and discussed tips for learning English through watching TV series.
After that, you explained that you often struggle with using “do” correctly in sentences. We went over its use as an auxiliary verb (see explanation below), and although you said the concept is now clearer, you still don’t feel fully confident using it in speech. To help you practise, I’m sending you some homework focused on using “do” in negative sentences and questions.
